What Traku stores about your account, tracking activity, and community participation — and the choices you have.
Traku collects information needed to run a tracking and community platform. This includes account details, library progress, ratings, reviews, comments, lists, notifications, and technical data such as browser type and request logs.
We collect only what is reasonably necessary to provide the product experience you choose to use.
When you create an account, we store identifiers such as your email address, username, and authentication metadata managed by our auth provider.
We may use aggregated analytics to understand feature usage, diagnose errors, and improve performance. Analytics are intended to describe trends, not to sell personal profiles.
Data is stored in managed databases and object storage used to operate Traku. Uploaded images, such as avatars or covers submitted by admins, are stored according to our upload policies.
We use industry-standard practices such as encrypted transport, access controls, and monitoring to protect account data. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so use a strong password and report suspected compromise promptly.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal data. Contact us to submit a request and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
We retain account and activity data while your account is active and for a limited period afterward when needed for security, legal compliance, or backup integrity. Aggregated analytics may be kept longer in de-identified form.
Privacy questions or data requests can be submitted through the Contact page. Include enough detail for us to verify account ownership when required.
